SerUmbras
Ok, this is really bugging me guys.9.2.3 of the 2012 sllabus reads as thus; "State and apply the formula relationg gravitational field strength to gravitational potential gradient".Could someone tell that to me in English, please? I swore I'd done it all, but this confuses me. HELP! Reply
HiggsHunter
Gravitational field strength is simply equal to the negative gravitational potential gradient.i.e, g = - (deltaV/deltaR)For an example of an application of the formula, see my reply to this question:http://www.ibsurviva...page__p__158101 1 Reply
