I don't understand the Design Lab requirements.

Hey everyone.

You all know we have to make design labs. I was wondering whether we're supposed just make the design and how we're going to do it or make the design and do the experiments, collect the data, plot the graphs, etc.

A little info would be great.

I found that Design was often tied to DCP and CE*. It's probably more efficient time-wise, as if you're going to do lab, you might as well do the whole lab, and your DCP and CE would be directly linked to your Design and you would not have to do another IA for those criteria.

It's probably best to ask your teacher - they should say if this IA is for Design, DCP or CE or any combination of those, as it does depend on which lab you're doing; some are better for design, and some not etc.

*DCP = Data Collection and Planning (basically, do the experiment), CE = Conclusion and Evaluation (what did you learn from the experiment and how to improve it)
