notoriety
Hey I'm completing the rationale form for my written task and I'm confused in the audience part. My written task is a diary of a fictional character, should I therfore state "himself" as the audience? Thanks for all answers in advance Reply
rFumachi
If the character is from a book you have read in the course, then yes you should write the name of the character as audience. Here is an example that comes in the guide:OptionLiterary (task based on Charlotte Brontë’snovel, Jane Eyre)Area of communication Professional communicationType of textLetter of application from Jane Eyre to MrsFairfax, Mr Rochester’s housekeeperSubject Express interest in the position of housekeeperPurposeTo express interest in the position, and to informthe employer of one’s past employment historyAudience Mrs Fairfax and Mr RochesterIf it is a fictional character you have created, then your audience could be "Adults, teenagers, children" depending on the purpose of your WT. 1 Reply
