thehaikubandit
Due to difficulties with my IA, I am considering dropping history and takingup environmental as my G3. I only would need it for a year, and it can be donehowever, I was wondering if I should? I plan to talk to my coordinator when I getback to school but advice is a lovely thing. Mort
I would suggest you first try to seek help with your IA's before giving up, you know 'when there is a will there is a way'! If you really believe that changing is going to benefit you as a whole, then go for it! Be warned though, if you do change your subject, you will need to put a lot of time and effort on catching up with the rest of the class in good time. I wish you the best of luck!Mort 1 Reply
thehaikubandit
It isn't so much the workload or the task, I am finding that side easy. But the topic I haveis too close to home right now and it is hard to work on as I do about 30min then useseveral boxes of tissues crying. Mort
I'm sorry mate but I don't follow, what exactly is the problem with your topic? Reply
thehaikubandit
It deals with the mass suicide of Japanese POWs. I recently lost a very close friend to suicideso it is difficult to research and write about. Reply
Mort
I'm sincerely sorry to hear that and I wish much patience for you. Back to topic, if changing is what you believe is best for you, don't hesitate at all. Go and speak to your coordinator, he/she will understand your circumstance and will be able to help you.Don't stress too much over the essay, because what matters most in the end is not school nor university, but the friendships and memories you make along the way.Take good care of yourself.Mort Edited November 5, 2011 by Mort Reply
