Math Studies Internal Assessment.. don't know where to start!

I really don't get why your teacher would say that, I got a perfect score for mine and it included chi-squared and the correlation coefficient which are both stats...

You can literally do anything. Anything you THINK affect each other. Speed of a car and fuel mileage? National debt and the DOW standings? # of hours doing x affecting x about that person?

Might help :)

Hm... I'll have to talk to her more about it but when I gave her my first stats idea she told me to find something else :/

do you know anything about trend lines??

For math studies you only learn the linear line so you would have to maybe come up with variables that you think would have a linear relation. You have to have at least 2 mathematical processes though so you're going to need to calculation a correlation as well...

There's really no way to just completely avoid stats. The class is almost all about stats. Probability, sets, chi squared, correlations, linear line, it's not all stats but it can all be worked into stats O.o

yeah, I thought stats is the only thing you can do in a Math St IA. what do you like? I like music, so for example I can find out how many people like rock music, pop music, hip hop, country, RnB, etc etc and do some manipulation I don't know (I don't know because idk what you should write in a Math St IA) or I can survey how many people listen to music for how many hours, etc.
