IBEZ
What percentage would I need in order to get a 7 on the IB math SL exam? If it changes every year then on average. Reply
Wootable
The Sevenoaks School website says you need 84% for a 7. That was for last year Reply
IBEZ
Thanks and two more questions, first is how many points (on average) is paper 1 out of and second is do ib exam scores matter if I am a junior? Reply
iMuffinsx3
Paper 1 is in general out of 90 marks. At least that's what I've heard. ;PI think they do matter, as it's counted towards your final IB score out of 42 or 45.(Dependant on whether universities count TOK and EE and bonus or not)For mark boundaries and such there is a link on the IB survival site:Click Here for Mark Boundaries Reply
jess1ca
Both papers are out of 90 each.On the paper you probably need a high 70-low 80. But you also have to take your portfolio marks into account, they make up 20% of your IB score. Not sure how it is where you live but at my school the IB score gets translated and is used for our grade 12 Advanced Functions and Grade 12 Calculus and Vectors mark. Drake Glau
Aim for 85%+ of the marks. On everything. Reply
EccentricPianist
What percentage do you have to get to get a 1? I know I attempted all of them at least, but some I just had absolutely no idea what to do! I'm really worried about getting a 1, because then *poof* goes the diploma (not that certificates are bad or anything, I just want the diploma!)
