Julie
First aid couldn't count much as action. You are not doing physical work like a sport. It would be creativity for sure. If you were to put your gained knowledge from first aid to use in some way, it would add in service hours. Reply
darkwatch218
Are you training as a lifeguard? A person in my school did that and considered it as Action... Reply
Summer Glau
I also trained as a lifeguard and counted it for action. Reply
bomaha
I think that because you're learning it, it is considered to be a creativity task. Reply
Summer Glau
I think that because you're learning it, it is considered to be a creativity task. You also are supposed to be learning things by doing action and service hours. You have to fulfill the learning outcomes for your CAS acitivites, so really you should be 'learning' something for all of your activities, not just in one category Learning also isn't necessarily restricted to learning a new skill, it can be improving upon a skill you already had.
