Your desktop

Recommended Posts

Today I was looking for new wallpapers for my new laptop and as I sifted through hundreds of pages on Google Images, I realised I'm really picky with the way my desktop looks.

I like my wallpapers to be super simple and minimalistic, and I don't like icons on my desktop.

Here's a picture. :P

So, just out of curiosity:

  • What's your desktop wallpaper?
  • Are you really picky about how your desktop looks?
  • Is your desktop cluttered?
  • What do you use your desktop for?
  • How often do you change your wallpaper?

...And any other desktop-related topics you can think of!

Shortcuts to the places I need to go to.

How often do you change your wallpaper?

Every two-three months or so. I went six months without changing it a long time ago.

@Sonneteer_Trombonist: I don't like having people on my desktop either! But for the opposite reason, I tend to stare at them.... and it's distracting. Hahaha!

@Meteora: Wow, Mirror's Edge must have really good graphics, hey? Those pics look so cool! :)

@Cynthia: Woah, I think that desktop might prove useful to me sometime. Where did you get it? :)

I find uncluttered, icon-free desktop with my Rainlendar works well for doing work, because then I see what I have to do, and my desktop's pretty boring so I don't linger on it too long...

Does anyone else use Rainlendar? It's soooo useful for organising events and to-do lists.
