mariemurphy
So after summer i will enter the dreaded IB world, but is there anything I can do during the summer that will help me prepare for next year?? I feel so unproductive just sitting around my house! haha. Reply
Austin Glau
Sitting around the house never hurts You could browse around these forums or the IB syllabus and see what IB is like, and maybe study up on some math/sciences you might be skipping to get to IB.Edit: This should be moved to General IB Discussion or something Reply
elmar
Stock up on black/blue and red pens, paper, number two pencils, various colored highlighters, and a dictionary/thesaurus. Actually do your summer reading assignments (if you have any), otherwise, you'll spend the year regretting your choice. If you really want to feel prepared, go ahead and buy an IB course companion for each our your classes. master135
Reading the syllabus of your chosen subjects would be a good idea. Get familiar with whats expected, the marking scheme, regulations, etc Reply
