Feel free to move it mods So today, the 5th Dec, it is the International Volunteer Day! Yay You can read more about it here. Are you guys gonna do something particular? I am sadly not since I didnt have the time to plan and my evening is already booked But still

Afterglow
Yes, it is quiet fun actually. If it weren't for CAS, I wouldn't have been introduced to the red cross and such which I love now and am rather dedicated to. Got a surprise today though when we recieved christmas cards as thank you made by elder people Yay!

Harmonicgirl
CAS opened my eyes on creative activities. Before cas I have't been doing anything creative, just sometimes I went to a theatre or concert (but it's not like CAS activities)
Afterglow
That's what I meant with CAS for service. It opened my eyes for all the fun, needed and good projects one could do. EmiL
I got 6 Service hours for volunteering at an International Volunteer Day Event. I basically had to sit at chilly entrance for three and a half hours (but I get 6 ) and hand people leaflets while eating some German rice and corn cookies I found under the table. My most boring CAS so far.
niceperson91
I have also volunteered to work every tuesday with a Nun. I and my friends help run her home where we teach them english, and help clean the house, garden, kitchen etc.....Its really cool because for christmas they all gave us cards and it was really touching. The place we work is also recognized by some high church organisation who are willing to write us comments in CAS binder!!!
