Does this count as CAS?

During the summer I did 3 days of "work experience" at a law firm which basically meant I sorted stacks of evidence into files for the whole day. Can this be counted as CAS in anyway? More specifically service?

I think it can count as service.

Of course you would have to describe what exactly you did and prove that it is service reltaed, that you helped somebody. To me it sounds worhty of being considered service for CAS.

I am pretty sure in one way or another it fits into all the topic sections:

Creativity - - learning about it

Action - doing it

Service - helping others

Ask your coordinater for details, because as weird as it is, the rules are quite a bit different at each schools, but it probably does count!

At our school, Service is usually for activities where you don't get paid (i.e. voluntary service), so you should be fine.

normally, your ib coordinator shouldn't allow service for such a mundane task. just fyi
