I have read both Wuthering Heights and Jane Eyre, and was deciding to do a comparison, but couldn't find a good topic. Also, I was wondering if it would be okay to do my essay on just one book, say Wuthering Heights. I am also open to reading other books for my essay, so any suggestions for a good topic would be highly appreciated! ZBSA Posted February 25, 2021 Report Share Posted February 25, 2021 Yes, you can do an essay on just one book. Just make sure you have enough points to fill up the whole essay. Possible topics for your comparative essay could be class differences, the patriarchy, etc. Another author whose novels may be relevant can be Jane Austin, but don't take my word for this because I haven't Jane Austin nor have I read the novels you mentioned.
