y.v Posted February 12, 2009 Report Share Posted February 12, 2009 Microsoft Excel only provides trendlines, equations and R-squared values upto degree 6. (Polynomial Function). Is there any program that would help me find the trendline, equation and R-squared value for a degree 8 polynomial function? I tried the IB graphing pakage and Graphmatica - I'm not too sure on how to use them but I could not find the trendline feature there. I'm trying to model an equation for a set of points.
