Nicole
I know it's not strictly Extended Essay related, but I was wondering if anyone else had heard that they changed the EE/TOK point rules for this May?I heard from several people, including some teachers, that in order to get 3 points you now have to achieve an A in both your EE and TOK. Is this true?
Abu
There has been no news of this, to me at least. As far as I know, the Matrix remains valid.
Ruan Chun Xian
I doubt it. There has been a new TOK Syllabus for M08 onward and the change to the table was if you get an E in anything (EE or TOK), you fail, as opposed to 2 E's for a fail previously. They wouldn't randomly change the matrix again without putting out a new syllabus and I think it's quite unlikely that they would revise it again so soon. Mr. Shiver
There has been a new TOK Syllabus for M08 onward and the change to the table was if you get an E in anything (EE or TOK), you fail, as opposed to 2 E's for a fail previously.I believe that's the change in question. Although it didn't appear in the new TOK syllabus, and it's not effective until 2010 onwards. Edited January 15, 2009 by Mr. Shiver
