Hedron123
Hey, does anybody know a formula to calculate the value of R^2 for a given table of values? I have a table with original data points and another table with points that I have obtained experimentally. Any help is appreciated. Thanks! Mr. Shiver
If you input those values into a graphing calculator, you can get the R^2 value when you do a regression. Make sure you've chosen the best-fitting regression. Reply
1-2-3
You can calculate the R^2 value using Excel as well. Plot your points. Insert a trendline. & Click 'Dispay R^2 value.' Reply
Hedron123
Thanks a lot! Though I had to develop another method as this was not so accurate as I thought. Reply
