ysl89
English A1. My teacher's name is Optimus Prime. You've got to be kidding me! That would rock! TOK would be the most exciting class. We discuss all sorts of issues and yes, it really changes my perception. And the best part is, no homework! Reply
ibkid
I personally like TOK as well because of we dont get that much homework. But my most favorite class is in between TOK and Psychology Reply
Mandiloquence
Haha, those sound like fun. I have TOK next year, but I'm very excited for it! My favorite class right now is Chem, because my teacher is young and just got married (after dating his new wife for 10 years!); and he always relates random things to our lecture. Oh, and he'll randomly bring us food. For example, when doing geometric isomers and such, we built molecules with marshmallows for a quiz grade...and then ate them. deissi
Chem, because my teacher is young and just got married How does his getting married have anything to do with why you like chem Reply

Mandiloquence
How does his getting married have anything to do with why you like chem Haha, I meant that it puts him in a happy mood! He never seems to get angry or annoyed, no matter how insane we're acting. But I agree, taken out of context that's a weird statement. Reply
tournedos
Economics. The teacher is has the funniest way of speaking ever, you'ld laugh if you heard him!'posssssssiblyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!' his favourite phrase lol, and he plays weird games with usbut the downside is we don't learn much during his class :/ Reply
ozolins
Once one of my history teachers cut his hand on a paper, but he didn't notice because he was so focused on what he was saying, and he was (as always) waving his arms so the people in the front row got blood all over themselves. ^^' My other history teacher once stood by an open window while he was talking, and for some reason just jumped out of it. koreANgel
ToK class is pretty fun, the best by far in comparison with the other teachers and curriculum.Let's see, something recent we did was a commercial during the weeks that we learned about Reason as a Way of Knowning. This commercial represented common logical fallacies that are used in commercials today.I'd show you guys the video, but I'm not sure if it's allowed... IBMan9000
In our history class the teacher is always telling us funny stories about his childhood and things like that. Like when he explained pump priming he got in to this huge story about how he was pumping a pump for 45 minutes while the old guys on his farm were laughing at him. Then one of them told him how to prime the pump. He's almost completely bald and has funny facial expressions. Reply

Our history teacher has also recently told us about pump priming and he has very interesting stories. Haha, and he's almost completely bald, fairly tall, and his facial expressions are hilarious when he doesn't have his glasses on. Reply
cranberry_isle
PHYSICS! we play slinky bowling on days when we really just DON'T feel like doing work. our teacher gets annoyed but he gives in.Slinky Bowling: stand on one end of the room, throw a slinky (but hold the other end) as if you would a bowling ball. depending on which row of tables it passes you get a certain amount of points... 10 if it hits the opposite wall, but zero if when it bounces back it gets caught on something.also, his fifth period has a tradition of M&M hiding. we all take turns refilling the jar, and then we hide it INSIDE one of the broken computers in the back. hiding it is an attempt to keep it from the 4th period class, (his other IB group), but I don't think they really care, at ALL its fun anyway Reply

hellogoodbye
Maths! Because of our awesome parties. We had a pi pie. Enough said.i agree...math is definitely the most exciting ib class. besides writing the portfolio paper, it doesn't really require that much writing (if your in sl). HL is different story math SL is good because its has calculus in it, but its understandable. Reply
yazzie
oh the hilarious moments we share in school!one was this one time where a group of seniors went to where the big school overhead microphone is controlled and closed all the doors and put on music and everyone started to get up and dance, of course they got into trouble but it was funny =Panother time was when our teacher didnt show up and we decided to escort ourselves out to the park and enjoy ourselves, of course once again we got in trouble but it was worth it =P we really did have fun =Poh and this one time we had a sub teacher and we made her life miserable! lol i think she retired after that! she would tell us to read something and we would translate it into any other language and continue to read as if it was totally normal... it was pretty funny =Plol and finally this one time in biology we caught our teacher ordering Starbucks so we begged her to order for us too and it was pretty cool we all got frapicchinos in class, and then we had to hide them before we left =( sadly i didnt get to finish mine =P Reply
