Aayah
Im just wondering, I know some math exams get curved if students do horrible. Did that ever happen with french exam Reply
kw0573
I am not sure exactly what you mean. All IB exam boundaries vary year by year but typically they are around the same cutoffs. Language B exams have the highest grade cutoffs (in high 80s) compared to other exams. Essentially all IB courses grades are based on a curve on the cumulative percentage. 1 Reply
poweroverwhelming
Last year was 85% I believe since it was kind of difficult. I'm going to guess for this year's, it will be either 86 or 87. 1 Reply
WinterCrow
I think you're referring to when IB bellcurves or moderates marks? I think that's for your oral exam you've done. They moderate differently each year, sometimes they don't moderate orals at all. Its different depending on the standards of each french teacher. I believe they leave your french exam mark as it is though. Reply
