Math SL November 2015 exam - who's taking it next week?

Greetings, lovely students! I'm Mitch, and I'm an IB math and physics teacher (and examiner and curriculum developer). I posted lots of resources in the past - I wanted to let you know that if you have your Math SL exam this November - gulp - that's next week - then I have something for you!

I've been making an online revision course to get students ready for the exams, and you can see the entire Algebra topic is free.

I went through every past exam and did a crazy detailed analysis of every question, how tough they are, what topics show up most often, etc etc. I used that to design a course to help you get ready for the exams in the shortest amount of time because, let's face it, we all do things at the last minute! :)

Including releasing the course, which I just did today. Hah!

In any case, for the Algebra topic, you can see I've made 9 lecture videos going through the theory, then each video has an IB question for you to try, and those have full video solutions to show you every step. There's also a question bank of 5 IB questions on Algebra. So in all, 23 free videos to help you out.

I hope you can use them!

I'll be releasing the details of the analysis of the questions really soon, but I just wanted to get those with exams next week a head start. The analysis of questions is also free, don't worry. I wanted to share as much info with you as I can.

For example, did you know that so far on the past exams in this current syllabus, Binomial Expansion has shown up on every single Paper 2? It's often a high power (and super gross), like to the power of 8. Yuck. Thankfully, I have two videos to show you how to do that:

Cheers,

Mitch
