connect2049
Hi everyone, my first post on this forum. Just an inquiry on my Historical Investigation research question. To what extent was the “Reign of Terror†(1793 – 94), led by the Jacobin Club, a necessary part in establishing the revolutionary ideals of liberty, equality and fraternity?^The above is my question. Is it too broad? Should I focus on one aspect of the ideologies? Thank you in advance for any replies ^.^ Edited October 25, 2015 by John Won Reply

Arrowhead
I agree, you have a good working RQ for the moment. My advice to you would be to not be hesitant to modify/edit your RQ as you write your paper. More often than not, the more research you do and write about, the idea of what exactly you're writing about becomes clearer and clearer and your RQ naturally evolves as a result.
