as1999610
I have been studying Chinese for a couple of years now, leading me to pick Chinese B SL as my group 2 subject. After a month into this course I am finding it a little challenging. So just for note would it hamper the way universities look at me if I was to drop from B SL to AB initio or will that not matter. And is AB initio really that easy for someone who has been studying the language for a few years? Or is this just an exaggeration. Any previous experience and feedback would be greatly appreciated. kartikeya
Sl languages are super hard. Just take abinitio. Trust me, unis do not look at your SLs Edited October 13, 2015 by kartikeya Reply
Yugalarex
Are you allowed to take AB if you've studied a language before? My school's rule is that if you've studied a language for 1 year< then you cannot take it at AB level... Reply
kevG
You've already studied the language before, therefore you cannot take it an ab initio level. Ab initio courses are for people who've never studied the language AND is not for people trying to achieve an easy 7. 1 Reply
