ibstudent77
In my school, the selection of topics is not free, we receive topics that we have to work on. I have to do something about heart rates and treadmills, this topic seems like it's too easy, and wouldn't earn me any marks since it is extremely simple. Is it possible to complicate this in any way? Perhaps by adding new variables or something? I assume measuring the heart rates and different speeds would be way too simple to get me anything decent. Any input would be appreciated, thanks. Reply
mitten98
I don't know if this would be complicated enough, but many treadmills have a setting that lets you change the elevation of the tread. You could test to see if heart rate was affected by that, and to what extent. Or you could use people of different ages and see how long it takes for their heart rates to return to normal?
