Is this topic too broad?

Topic: To what extent did economic policies such as Roosevelt’s New Deal allow the United States to become a "superpower" after World War II?

I'm thinking about talking about the New Deal, extreme wartime production during WWII, and then things such as the National Federal Highway act of 1956...

I think you need to focus on one issue that the New Deal's aim was to counter OR if better, focus on one specific Alphabet agency (some students in my school did that - teachers suggest focusing on one agency for a good, narrow focus)

I don't think you can talk about both...that's more like the grade 10 American history IA. You need to have a more specific focus (which in this case, would not cover both the extreme wartime production and National Federal Highway Act unless you have an umbrella argument covering both)

Well, first thing, is it for an IA or EE?

I guess it's OK for a EE, but I thin it's a little too broad for an IA.

Like IBTrojan said, pick a single factor, because even if it's an EE, 4,000 words is not going to be enough.

But that's just my two cents
