mechnight Posted December 16, 2014 Report Share Posted December 16, 2014 No, task 1 needs to be a creative piece. So, what you need to do is to write a response based on a chosen stimulus. It can be the speech, of course, but then you could write e.g. a letter to Obama's administration, or an editorial/article/opinion column in which you reflect on the speech. If you want to do the essay, then it's WT 2, and it needs to be a critical, academic piece. Hope this helps, if you have any extra questions, feel free to write back.
