taolangpo
Semi-fluent in French and this summer I tried translating Le Petit Prince into English. Stopped at eight chapters and even then took phrases from older translations. What if I translated contemporary short stories into English? Would that count for Creativity? Esteban
As far as I know, that would. Are you translating the stories for your own enjoyment or are you translating them for another cause? The reason I ask is that this activity could count as Creativity and Service hours. flinquinnster
As with most CAS questions, the short answer is that it depends on your CAS co-ordinator. It sounds like it would be creativity though - although if you happen to take IB French that might be different as that would then appear to be just part of preparing for your course/exams. As Esteban mentioned, you might also be able to claim it as service depending on purpose. Reply
