Spacecat
Hello, I am already taking Biology HL and I was wondering if, as the 6th subject, it would be useful to take Chemistry SL. I'm not sure what I want to study yet at university, and I know that for most science undergrad courses Chemistry HL is required. I just think doing it HL would be too difficult and could lower my score. Is it really as hard as people say? Now I am undecided between a second foreign language or Chemistry SL. Is Chemistry SL difficult? Thanks Reply

Knight
It will be extremely difficult to aim for both US and UK Unis. They have completely diverging paths. Edited August 27, 2014 by Knight Reply
Spacecat
What do US unis require? I thought it did not matter much what subjects you took because you didn't have to choose your degree right away...? Reply
LITHIN MYLAPUR
There is my friend who has taken Chem-SL Phy-HL, Eco-HL and Math-HL.He says it is ok if we take Chem as SL if you want to take up business in future or if your University accepts this Combination. Knight
For Medical, Chemistry HL is mandatory, anywhere you apply. I would say Chem HL is pretty manageable, not as challenging as Physics HL. Reply
