Talalwarsi5897
Hey guys. So I'm doing the project on energy drinks. For the biology aspect I'm going to test the effect of 3 energy drinks on the heart rate of subjects before and after exercise. I had an idea for the chem aspect but I have no idea how to carry it out. I thought that if i could somehow burn the dry ingredients of the energy drink and calculate the enthalpy changes of all 3 drinks, I could compare them and see which energy drink would release the most energy for the body. It was just a thought. But right now, I've no idea whatsoever. Some assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Reply
twilight
I don't know what's in the composition of an energy drink, but maybe you can carry out some reactions to measure the percentage composition of a certain chemical in the energy drink.Or maybe determine the pH of the energy drink. Talalwarsi5897
Thanks, but I think that It might no real experiment to determine the pH. I mean, i could just use a pH meter. By the way, Congratulations on your score. (DAMN!) Reply
