USA, Canada or UK?

Hie

I am IB1 at waterfod kamhlaba UWC in Swaziland and i come from Zimbabwe. I want to major in Electronics engineering so my question is which of the three countries USA Canada or UK do I need to go Because got not much information about how IB works and University Applications. My subjects; HL-Math, Physics, Chemistry

SL-English A Lang and lit, Economics Shona(my language)

My O level grades (ZIMSEC-Zimbabwe School Examination Council) are 9 As, Geography, Math, Shona, Agriculture, Biology, Physical Science, Computer Science and Accounting and 1 B English...(note A is the highest grade in Zimsec)

Which country is for me and which universities.? Please help!

It depends on the university. All three countries are good but I would prefer living in Canada. However it is up to you. The subjects you take are fine for what you want to study. You have to check the specific university requirements however. Also some other criteria other than IB is considered in some places like some universities int USA will require a good SAT score. So maybe look at some specific universities you want to study in and even cities you want to study in. I hope that helps :)

I agree with r111, but I think you also have to consider the learning atmoshere you want to study in. Although it also depends on the specific Universities you want to apply for, I think that studying in the US and Canada you have much more freedom in your studies, because the couses are generally not as specialised as they are in the UK.

This might not be the case for all of the universities in These countries, but even so it's something you have to make your mind up about.

Also consider ££££ cost to you as a student. The US and Canada may offer scholarships which the UK generally doesn't. Canada in particular has relatively low IB standards to start qualifying for academic scholarships, which obviously may tip the boat if you do have to think about money.
