Arrowhead Posted February 28, 2014 Report Share Posted February 28, 2014 If you take economics as an IB subject, enjoy it and are reasonable at it then yes it is a good idea.As a starting point, I completely agree. if you take IB Economics, enjoy it and are good at it, then maybe you should do an Economics EE.But I have seen a lot of Economics EEs fail dramatically because students become too ambitious with their topics and never consider that it can be very, very difficult to get comprehensive and useful source data as primary evidence for economic analyses. So if you do choose to do an EE in Economics, ensure that you pick a topic area where information is freely available, or at least, easily accessible to you.
