stressedfromIB
Does anyone know around how much is a GPA of 3.00 in IB score? I'm just wondering because I want to see if I'm eligible for a certain university scholarship. Thanks. Reply
SarahVan
I am almost certain that you can not convert GPA to an IB score. The IB does their grading differently than a normal high school. As to the issue with the University Scholarship, it would not hurt to apply without the score, unless of course the score is necessary..... In that case I can't really help you.I hope I at least helped a little. Reply
Emmi
The IB doesn't have a GPA, only scores of 1-7. You need to use your school's GPA scale to calculate what your GPA is.In some places a certain IB score scales to a percentage (Canada does this, like a 7 = 99 or whatever, and Australia I believe does too) after the IB results are released. But that's not the case here I believe. 1 Reply
ak18
The IB scores can be converted into GPA scales. Your school should have a way of doing it, or if you call the university counselor they should be able to tell you how they do their conversions; since most Unis do convert IB scores into GPA scores. veregudmen
From what my school does, this is how it is(unweighted):7=A+/A*=4.3 6=A=4.0 5=B=3.6 4=C=3.2 3=D=2.7 2=E=2.2 1=F=1.6 It's a very lenient grading scale, but that's what my school says is standard. Hope it helps you! Reply
