OTreptow
Hello!I am currently in the process of choosing my HLs and SLs right now. I am a native Spanish speaker so I was thinking of doing Spanish B HL. However, I heard, and I am not really sure if this true or not, that if I HL Spanish as my group two that I would then need to write my Extended Essay in Spanish. My two other HLs are Psychology and English A. I am Cuban but I have lived in the United States my entire life so I am fluent in both languages however, I would much rather write the EE in English. Does anyone know if I HL Spanish B will I need to do my EE in Spanish? Also, is there a huge difference between Spanish HL and SL?Thank you Reply
Connaitre
You only have to write your EE in Spanish if you choose it as your topic. I have a friend fluent in Hebrew but as his essay was about Physics, he did it in English! Reply
Gaby
You could write your EE in Spanish, I believe, as it is an official language of the IB, but you don't have to. Reply
