RosaMartins97
Hey, I am teaching maths to a grade 6 and I was wondering in which area of CAS it went into.Creativity? Action? or Service?Would love to hear feedback. Thank you Reply
Emmi
It depends on how you want to count it, as it could work for both creativity and service. Creating lesson plans/tutoring lessons for the person is creativity, and actually tutoring them is service. You can count it as either one you want, just be sure to be explicit and clear when you are doing reflections or filling out CAS forms. 1 Reply
Sceptyczka
If you are teaching you are helping someone in understanding a subject so it's probably Service. Some people in my school help younger students in their classes and it's count for Service Edited November 19, 2013 by Sceptyczka 1 Reply
Claire S. Chapuy
I would say that because it is not an artistic subject where you would really need to be creative, this could only be categorised as Service. Although, you can ask your supervisor for tips on how to make it both Service and Creativity if you're missing some creativity hours Hope I helped! xx Reply
r1111
In my opinion it would only count as service (not creativity). It would also fulfill the requirement planned and initiated activities. Reply
