Nemui
Hi, just trying to figure out what I should do for my CAS project, I don't have very good ideas, or know what to start with. Were any of you in the same situation as I was, then eventually did a decent project? Reply
under-cover
I think my school does CAS quite differently but I found it fairly easy simply because I'm already involved in many activities like playing the piano l and doing yoga. But also, I organised some activities within my school with friends. For example, you can organise a bake sale to raise money for a charity or do something like that. Does this help? Do you want more specific suggestions? Reply
J500
Well, if you want to start your own group...the first step would be to brainstorm a list of global issues (e.g. ENVIRONMENT - pollution, endangered animals; SOCIAL - feminism, access education, poverty, orphans, victims of natural disasters....and stuff like that) you are concerned about or things you are interested in (sports/dance/acting etc.).Then just find a way to connect it to creativity, action and/or service. Trust me, there's always a way to link at least one of them to the final project you decided to pursue. But if you're talking about joining already-started CAS activities in school...then just go ahead and join any that seem interesting. A good thing would be to have diversity in what you choose - universities like that. Just makes sure, what ever you choose is based on what YOU like and that it somehow allows you to fulfill all the CAS requirements.Good Luck. 1 Reply
