The main theme is effects on the environment. So how can I go thorugh with it by the analysis of local and/ or traditional building materials? any suggestions? Have you tried googling the building materials and thinking of possible effects on the environment? You can just think generally, what sorts of things that relate to Chemistry do you know of also have the potential to upset the natural equilibrium? How could you test the building materials for any of those qualities? Can google help you find some methods? A little bit of 'engage brain' time should get you on your way.
