what is the best way to approach an art EE?

iv read many places that there are unlimited ways of doing this but how Exactly do you start?? should we focus on issues that are historic or would it be better to do something contemporary??

unfortunately im in an area with a shortage of libraries in general.. so the internet is the primary source of info. for me so would that reduce the grade average??

help appreciated!!! :teehee::guitar::troll::curtsey:

Start thinking of topics that interest you. You could look at a particular artist, a particular movement or style, or perhaps a combination of the two. You could examine a technique within several works or the role of an artist in a movement. Just a few ideas to get you started. You can be historical or temporary, whichever time period you would prefer.

I would suggest using any material that your library had on your topic, if available. If you need to resort to the internet, make sure you're using scholarly sources and not just random things that you find. Your best bet is to get access to some databases (JSTOR, Epsco, Questia, etc) that have books, journal articles, and magazine sources that may help you in writing your EE.
