maereth
I was wondering if Festinger's cognitive dissonance and the study on this sect that was expecting the world to end and then when nothing happened, they said it was only thanks to their prayers-if this could be used for an attribution bias question? Because my teacher said something like it's not the best example but I don't really know why...Hope somebody knows what I'm talking about ;d Edited April 26, 2013 by maereth Reply
Elizabeth O'Donnell
I think that you are talking more about Conformation Bias with that example, Attribution Bias would be more like when you describe someone you've never meet based on their behavior. You know like when a driver cuts you off and you think he is a bad person, Fundumental Attribution Error. Reply
