The River Between by Ngugi wa Thiong'o2. Assorted poems by Nissim Ezekiel3. Rasselas Prince of Abyssinia by Samuel Johnson. Please help, and thank you in advance! Aryana
Hey, I have had the same problem. Why don't you try and find out links between the books and express your ideas in an opinion column. Moreover, you can also design a tabloid or comic strip Reply
Black Bird Lockheed
I have not read those books but at least you can identify the theme of the books? Is this book based on friendship, war ( I am giving examples). If you can identify the theme of the book then you can easily frame a topic and that is what I always do. dniviE
Hey, I have had the same problem. Why don't you try and find out links between the books and express your ideas in an opinion column. Moreover, you can also design a tabloid or comic strip No, no, no and once more no. You obviously have no idea what the Language & Literature Written Task 2 is. The Written Task 2 is a formal piece of written essay that is based upon one of the prescribed questions from the ELL IB guide. These are (from page 45 in the IB Guide):How could the text be read and interpreted differently by two different readers? If the text had been written in a different time or place or language or for a different audience, how and why might it differ? How and why is a social group represented in a particular way? Which social groups are marginalized, excluded or silenced within the text? How does the text conform to, or deviate from, the conventions of a particular genre, and for what purpose How has the text borrowed from other texts, and with what effects?@Aryana: You are talking about Written Task 1 - the 'creative' writing part in which you are supposed to write a text that is in a certain genre and try to be very close to the style of that genre. Please take a look in the Language A: Language & Literature subject guide to get an overview of the assessments and the Written Tasks. I have just uploaded the guide to IBS but it has to be approved first. I'll post the link as soon as it is approved!
