University requirements arts/engineering

as far as i've found out:

for most engeneering courses: physics hl + math hl

for some engeneering also chemistry hl (e.g. chemical engeneering)

for i.t. - i.t. may be useful

many architecture (that's what i'm interested in:) )/ design courses require a portfolio of work, some of them visual arts hl

i have finally chosen hl math physics english b and sl polish a economy visual arts but i'm not sure of the choice.

For engineering it is generally required to get 36-38 with 6 in HL maths and physics when applying to the top (10-15) universities. Some such as Cambridge and Imperial will obviously ask for more.

Currently applying for mechanical engineering and all my offers have been 37 with 6s in all HLs. The same for a friend of mine.
