My idea is to write it up on the espionage between USSR and USA in the cold war, especially about a guy called Gary Powers. Please help.Thank You. The rule is that the event in question has to be at least 10 years in the past. Why not write an EE on the coup d'état against Mahuad in 2000 in Ecuador? That would be a very original, less written about topic and you probably can do a lot of interviews for first-hand information and what-not.Just brainstorming with you because I saw your Profile flag is for Ecuador. But try and be a little different and come up with some different ideas.Like Arrowhead said above, you should do something more original and different since many papers have been based on that subject. However, If you are very passionate about it, you can still succeed, just keep in mind, yours will have to be VERY outstanding since it will be compared to past papers.Originality will give you a "boost" if done correctly.
