superplanker
I am a new IB student. In fact, today was my first day in school. I am a bit nervous about completing CAS hours especially Action hours. I am not a great athlete nor do I excel at a certain sport. I do walk for 1 hour almost 4 times a week with my brother. I dont know if this counts or not. Do you have any suggestions for me? I was thinking of looking for kendo classes in my hometown...but its rare since I am not living in Japan...any help would be appreciated...thank you Reply
GirlwiththeBlueBox
Walking should be ok, although all CAS hours are supposed to teach you something, so as long as you learn something from it you should be fine. You definitely do not have to be in a sport or be athletic however for it to count as CAS-- I'm in theatre and all the dancing counts as physical activity, which equals CAS. Good luck! Award Winning Boss
Can you go to the gym? That's a pretty easy way to get action hours 1 Reply
