Chicka
I'm switching schools next year and I have to change one of my IB courses. I can either take Psychology SL or Social Anthropology SL. I don't have experience in either subject but I'm interested in both, although I'm already in History and Bio HL so I'm sick of memorizing stuff. Does one have a better reputation than the other--like in terms of how interesting the course material is? It would also be nice to know which has the easier, lighter workload...as 'easy' and 'light' as an IB course can get, that is. Reply
yomanyomo
I take Psychology HL so I'm slightly biased....but considering the content in psychology, it is pretty interesting so I say go for psychology.I don't really know much about social anthropology to be honest, but psychology does cover the sociocultural part of it. which im guessing is similar to social anthropology. IB psychology does require quite a bit of memorization, but honestly it is not that bad especially at SL.good luck! Reply
