Andyboi
Those are very challenging HL's you have; It depends on what you want to do though If i were you I would switch one of your HL's for Geography HL. There's not TOO much of a difference between HL and SL Geography as opposed to the sciences and maths. I would think it over: how much work you want to put in and how much of a social life you want 1 Reply
nanon
what are you planning on doing at university? What are the prerequisites? You need to take that information in to account. Reply
couplandc
I am planning on going into applied sciences and sciences in general...do universities prefer a 4th HL? Reply
Emmi
I am planning on going into applied sciences and sciences in general...do universities prefer a 4th HL?No, they don't. With your combination I would NOT ADVISE you to take a 4th HL. Your subjects are very challenging and will require a lot of time and effort to score well. Stick with your 3 SL/3 HL. spereira14
I'd agree with the others, stick to your current subjects. There're not that great of a difference between Geography SL and HL, but it's just more material for you to study and learn, and that's less time for you to focus on your other subjects, which are pretty difficult- Universities do sometimes favour a fourth HL, but I doubt they'll care with your subject combination, as it truly shows you love maths and science and you're taking the hardest classes available. Good luck! Reply
