hithere Posted February 18, 2012 Report Share Posted February 18, 2012 For the portfolio about the medalists jumping height at the olympic games, they ask for 2 function by hand, and one by technology. I am confused about what they mean by hand, can i plot the points on excel or GDC, can i used my GDC to solve system of equations with it? what can't I do when it says find the function by hand? dessskris Posted February 18, 2012 Report Share Posted February 18, 2012 if you have to do it analytically, you can't simply plot its graph on TI or Excel and generate a regression. this will be for the later part. however if you use matrices you can use your calculator to evaluate the matrices.
