eyyoitsdavidfoo
Hi I joined IB art this year and I didn't really know how hard it was to actually be a painter. Most of my paintings up to know haven't really been top notch IB standard and I'm just looking for a little advice for impressionism techniques anyone have some advice? hklee321
One of my summer research topic was on Impressionism. The techiniques actually differ from artists to artsits and even during the artist's time, there would be difference from their early works to their latter works. If I have to give some tips about the techiniques, one would be that you should avoid black. Other is that you should paint spontaneously. Also keep in mind that Impressionists focused on light and color. I did my research on Monet and Renoir btw One of my summer research topic was on Impressionism.
