miki2011
Do we need to complete service hours in cancer wards to do our major project on Relay For Life? Our coordinator says we need to but I'm confused because nowhere in the CAS guide says we have to. THANKS! Reply
WezzBrah94
it seems as though that if it does not appear in the CAS Guide then I wouldn't beieve that you would have to do an extra activities outside of your major project Reply
dessskris
what do you mean? maybe it's your school's project. like, perhaps it's something that your school does annually so they want you to do it. like in my school, the compulsory CAS projects are: independence day bazaar, all night marathon, sukabumi project, cambodia project; although they're not written in the CAS guide.but why do you ask? why are you 'suspicious'? I mean if it's your school thing just follow it, there's no point in trying to not do it just because you don't like it or just because you don't have the will to. Summer Glau
There's a school club that organizes Relay for Life every second year at my school. Most of the members are in IB and they get CAS hours for doing it. They didn't do anything in cancer wards, they just planned the event and made sure everything was running smoothly during the event.
