hithere
Hi, I just started doing some volunteer work for CAS. I know I need to provide some kind of proof, so can I just type up a sheet explaining my volunteer work and the number of hours I did and as my supervisor to sign it? Or is there a special form I need to fill out? Or do i just use the 40hours sheet my school has? Thanks! Reply
Summer Glau
I believe the forms are different for each school. So, it's best to just use the form that your school uses, just to avoid any possible problems with documenting your hours and how legitimate they are . I'm guessing the 40 hour sheet you mentioned is for a program other than IB though (correct me if I'm wrong)... You're sure the CAS forms aren't available on your school website or something like that? Reply

I am sure my school doesn't have such form, we are just required to provide a letter from our volunteer supervisor, but my supervisor just want me to write down everything and he will just read it over and sign it. Would that be ok? Reply
CkyBlue
Try consulting with your CAS coordinator, or your IB coordinator haha. I'm surprised you have come to us for help. My school uses a system called ManageBac to track down all of our progress and subject material for IB1 and 2.I am pretty sure the volunteer hour sheet won't do, as that only goes for service.
