ShootingStars
Best university for this course? I would say London School of Economics. Reply
dessskris
but unfortunately not so many universities offer Accounting, so you should choose your major wisely! if you are an international student, it would be difficult to find scholarships from UK universities. you may want to try to go to http://www.educationuk.org and use the Find Scholarship feature. Uni of Westminster used to offer full scholarships to international students, but it's not a good university and I'm not sure if it still offers that scholarship. ninety
Accounting & Finance was a course I considered at one point before I settled down for Law (due to family pressure and other things). Here are some notes and other tidbits I compiled when I was doing research on unis. I thought it'd be a shame to let it all go to waste, so here you go! Hope it helps in some way!First here are course-specific university rankings from various places:http://www.thecompleteuniversityguide.co.uk/league-tables/rankings?s=Accounting+%26+Financehttp://www.guardian.co.uk/education/table/2010/jun/04/university-guide-business-and-management-studies (Accounting falls under Business and Management Studies, apparently)And here's the research I did on some individual unis and their requirements for Accounting & Finance. It was originally done in Microsoft OneNote but I had to save it as a PDF to share it here, so apologies if the PDF's formatting and paging are strange.Note: The number in brackets next to each university's name is its ranking according to the Complete University Guide 2011 (first link mentioned above). If there's a second number after it, that number represents its ranking according to Guardian.★ Accounting and Finance.pdf Edited August 9, 2011 by ninety 1 Reply
