Hey guys, Im having a bit of trouble with my maths. Here's the question:

ax^2-6x+a-2 = 0 has one root which is double the other

find a and the two roots of the quadratic equation. Ive been trying for the past hour, but I simply can't get it

What i've got which is def right so far is:

3z = 6/a

2z^2 = (a-2)/a
