IBStressingOut
So I wanted to do a presentation in English and different dreams. Is there any relation with this to IB Psychology? Please share some information, as I have not taken this class, and it would be nice to relate the curriculum to my presentation. Guest tahaqarni
one optional topic of IB psychology is the psychodynamic perspectivewhich claims that all of our behavior is due to unconscious influences, and that dreams are an important way to ascertain our unconscious desiresresearch up on Freud and his interpretation of what dreams represent, and that should be a good link to psychology, because most other perspectives of psychology tend to stay away from dreams Reply
JoeG
Using IB psychology for IB English is possible. For example, a girl in my school 'psychoanalyzed' a character from one of the books we read, for the IOP. While this isn't dream interpretation, as the book did not contain any dreams, it shows that Psychology can be used to interpret/analyze work for English. P.S. I think she scored a 7 on her IOP.
