Afterglow
Memory and the serial position curve: Participants learn a long list of words and after a delay they have to recall as many as possible. The hypothesis is that people tend to remember the first and last words in a list due to the primacy and recency effects. Just google for the serial position curve/effect. It's very popular. I know there were some IB students who performed this on us in last year.Btw, if you're in SL then its just to replicate this experiment I think. If you're HL then you must change a variable or so and this can easily be done with the serial position curve. For instance, you could include time, kind of words (like throwing in a famous celebrity all of the sudden in the middle or include themes) and much more.
