If you already know what you want to study, and are an EU citizen, then you should consider going to the UK for university as they charge lower fees for EU students (no tuition fees in Scotland and about 3500 Euros a year in England).

You should look up courses in UK universities on this website, www.ucas.com. Click on "Course Search", then on "Search for courses starting in 2010". From there, click "Search by subject" and click on "G", then open both Geography and Geology pages and click at the top "All Geography courses". This gives you the broadest range of courses for both subjects, and you will see them grouped by university. If you click on the course itself, you can view the entry requirements and what the university's typical offer to a student is in terms of IB diploma points. This will help you to decide where to apply, based on whether you think you can meet the entry requirements.

Some examples of courses you could take (I picked the courses at good, well-known universities):

-The University of Birmingham offers a 3 year course in Geography and Geology, as does the University of Brighton

-The University of Edinburgh offers either a 4 or 5 year course in Geology and Physical Geography, and so does the Royal Holloway (University of London)

-The University of Leeds offers a 3 year course in Geology and Geography, so does the University of Manchester

All of those courses are Bachelors degrees and will give you a Hon BSc (the 5 year one in Edinburgh will result in an Hon EarthMi).

There are also variations of these courses that may also interest you, like Geology and Arcaheology, Environmental Geoscience,Geophysics with Geology, etc. You should look for yourself and see what interests you.
